this is my first attempt at airbrushing/painting, so please be gentle with me!!!
i've had this piece opened on my computer since the beginning of the year... i've stared at it before going to sleep, trying to figure out what to do next. at this point, i can't do anything more. so, submission time :boogie: hihi

well, done in PHOTOSHOP! Woohoo! I don't generally work in photoshop, but one of my best friends said, 'look, it's time to exit flash for a second and come to the grown ups table.' lol. but i don't know, y'all have to tell me what you think.. areas of improvement are welcomed.. be brutal with me. i'm a little masochistic right now.. :nod:

oh, i am proud of the eyes though.. :D I love a good iris. lol

okay, stats:
photoshop, countless hours of staring blankly at the screen, countless versions saved on my computer fearing the infamous photoshop melt-down, actual work about 30 minutes (joke.. about 30 hours), and my :heart: mouse, and the new U2 cd :headbang:

*UPDATE* if you didn't see it (or remember it before), trust me it's a lot better.. for starters, I :heart: blur, and I softened the image up a lot.. A LOT. I'm kinda pleased with how it turned out

This is really nice. I'd say get rid of the black outlining on the lips and even out the shape of the chin so both sides are more or less symmetrical. The eyes are really fantastic. Still, lighten up on the use of black around the edges. When you're doing airbrushing like this, you want to try and get away from using lines and let the colrs themselves define the shapes.
